How childish is Drudge?

Why is Drudge such an idiot?  Because he gleefully announces that its going to be snowing in DC this week during Al Gore's "global warming' hearing.   Drudge is an idiot because he offers this up as proof that Global warming is so much hogwash.  Hey Drudge, its January in DC, snow IS goiing to happen.  But this is a common tactic for Drudge, show it snowing somewhere, anywhere, and then imply that its proof that the Global Warming crowd is nuts. 

Here are the facts, Drudge and Rush appeal to ignorance, they appeal to people that don't know the facts or don't want to know the facts.  How else do you explain this?  I mean, am I really supposed to think that Al Gore is full of shit because its going to snow this week in DC?  Does the fact that it snowed in Las Vegas mean that polar caps are not melting?  Does snow during Al Gore's testimony mean that the glaciers aren't receding?
